‘GOOD +’ adjetivos and ‘BAD-‘adjetivos
Voce pode usar um ou mais de um adjetivo para descrever alguma coisa ou alguem GOOD ou BAD. Isso depende de como você se sente em relação a isso.
lovely(++) (very)good (+)+ ←OK → (very)bad (-) awful(-)
wonderful(+++) terrible(-)
terrific(++++) dreadful(-)
etc. etc.
Os adjetivos no centro são chamados de adjetivos de ‘escala’ e dao a descrição geral de alguma coisa. Voce pode usar ‘very’ antes deles. Os adjetivos no lado esquerdo e direito são chamados de adjetivos de ‘limite’ e transmitem uma descrição extrema de alguma coisa. Voce pode usar ‘absolutely antes deles (mas nao ‘very’).

Encontre o adjetivo ‘limite’ do lado direito que corresponda com o adjetivo ‘escala’ do lado esquerdo. Voce deve encontrar no mínimo um adjetivo ‘limite’ para cada adjetivo ‘escala’.

Adjetivos terminados em –ing ou –end descrevem uma pessoa, uma coisa ou uma situacao. Os adjetivos terminados em –ed descrevem como nós sentimos em relação a esta pessoa, coisa ou situação.
Ex: It was a very interesting programme – I was very interested in the programme .
Escolha o adjetivo correto em cada questao:
- Sue wasn’t very good at Maths. I was surprising / surprisedwhen he passed the exams.
- It was very embarrassing / embarrassed to find out that I had no money with me at the checkout.
- I enjoyed the Dracula film last night but my younger sister was frightening / frightenedby it.
- I though it was very annoying / annoyed to wait for our order for more almost an hour at the restaurant.
- The children got very exciting / excited with the idea of a holiday in Greece.
